I’m a firm believer that our lives are enriched by our hobbies - what we do outside of work informs and allows for even more creativity. My art includes: haiku, urban sketching, sketchbook work and acrylic paintings. My creative work is bright and filled with possibility.

At 50, after starting therapy to work through childhood PTSD and related trauma, I began to draw and paint. Prior to that, although an award winning graphic designer, I had told myself that I couldn’t draw or make actual art. Well, a little processing of past crap goes a long way and I am now a selling artists with pieces collected all over the US by happy collectors.

I started writing haiku everyday in 2019 and my work has won awards, been featured in the Haiku Society of America anthology, Emerge from the Writers Colony and I have a small chapbook. It’s my favorite form of writing and now I teach this in a placemaking session that is an amazing way to explore a district, setting or even just one building.
