What is the #30DayChallenge

30 days that you commit to focusing on one aspect of change in your life. The goal isn’t to make broad sweeping changes, but instead to build better habits one challenge at a time. You can choose to focus on your home, work, health, relationships, or any aspect of your life.

You can start your challenge any day at any time. You just commit to the action and the 30 Days. We are here to keep you accountable and cheer you on your way!

What Challenges Have People Done?

The variety of personal and professional changes is staggering. Change can happen everywhere! Folks have cleaned off their kitchen table every night before going to bed, committed to the Couch to 5K program, worked on their posture, given up sugar, danced everyday, meditation… the options and ideas or endless.

Why Did You Start This?

I first learned about micro changes from SARK, years ago. Then, later, I was intrigued by the ideas that Buster brought around personal change. That all solidified when I decided to do my on 30 Day Challenge of writing everyday. Something I have always wanted to do, but didn’t put time or energy into. That was 5 challenges ago and the habit stuck and it has changed me as a person – I process problems better, write out ideas more frequently and have begun thinking of myself as a writer.

I decided to open it up to the public because I realized that personal accountability and love/support is what makes it happen. Wanting to change is one thing, but committing to it in front of others is a whole other thing.

How Do I Get Started?

Choose your Challenge

Start small. Think about something you want to start doing every single day that is actually measurable, but won’t take a ton of time. We have an AMAZING Facebook. Really, they are so super supportive. I have totally taken on Challenges that were not the right fit for me and I struggled. They had great ideas and brought a whole new perspective to what I could do to keep with it.

This is a closed group that is just for #30DayChallenge participants. It is set up so no one sees what you post inside the group outside of the group. Your privacy is important.

    I consider myself a work in progress. As a magnet I have says “the road to success is always under construction”. The Group has helped me to find a way through the noise that is everyday life towards a better me. It’s a bit of a maze, with lots of dead ends and going through the same place several times, but the Group has been very supportive and I can vent about the little frustrations and struggles that no one else cares about.

    It is amazing how one small change can be powerful and motivate to learn more. I changed my spending habits in a similar challenge program I set for myself for 3 months. Now thinking what to change next!
